Title Amok Time on Makeshift Rhyme... or perhaps Amok Rhyme for short?
Codes: K, S, Mc
Rating: G
Summary. Okay, I've been working on rhymes for some stuff in RL lately,
and I thought I'd try it here as well. Set during... suprise.. Amok Time.
Disclaimer. Spock, Kirk, TOS and all that belong to Paramount, No
infringement is intended and I don't make money on this.
Feedback. Yes please, but be gentle. It's tough to write on rhyme on a
language that isn't your first... kira@kardasi.com
Amok Time in
Make-shift Rhyme
There once was a Vulcan in 'Fleet.
Who's heart for a human did beat
He fought day and night
He thought that was right
But the harder he tried to resist
The more his libido did twist
It pained him, he suffered such plight
One day, as he suffered pon farr
While fighting, he gave Jim a scar
He thought Kirk had died
Would not leave his side.
From madness so suddenly free
His actions, in truth, he could see.
He never from judgement would hide
He said to the doctor McCoy
My life is bereft of all joy
I've committed a killing
It is terribly chilling
I must be relieved of command
Before Starfleet and judges I'll stand
I will go to the jury so willing
Tell Chekov to plot a new course
His voice was so terribly hoarse
The voice of another
Said, now don't you bother
The Vulcan, he turned on his heel
A smile on his face, he did feel
He saw life in the eyes of his brother
Jim laughed and told him the truth
Bones is clever, quick and so smooth.
You should never play games
With a captain called James
But boy am I glad he could help
Or else I'd have died with a yelp
He saved me from a Vulcan in flames
Our doctor is surely resourceful
A trick - even two, he did pull
He gave me a drug,
Don't look so smug!
The doctor, he made me look dead.
I'm glad, for your strength I do dread
But Spock, I'm okay, now let's hug
